ICBC-approved one-on-one commercial driver training with Steve Mitchinson in Smithers, BC. Tuition is paid in full before training begins.
Class 2 Bus Licence
Train to operate passenger-carrying vehicles including school buses, transit buses, and motor coaches. 12 hours of pre-trip and on-road training delivered in 6 sessions of 2 hours each (1¾ hrs training + ¼ hr review per session).

Class 3 Truck Licence
Qualify to drive single-unit trucks and large commercial vehicles. 30 hours of pre-trip and on-road training delivered in 12 sessions of 2½ hours each (2¼ hrs training + ¼ hr review per session).

Class 4 Restricted Licence
Train to operate taxis, ride-hail vehicles, ambulances, and small buses with up to 10 passengers. 12 hours of pre-trip and on-road training delivered in 6 sessions of 2 hours each (1¾ hrs training + ¼ hr review per session).

Code 20 — Heavy Trailer Endorsement
Add the Heavy Trailer (Code 20) endorsement to your existing licence. 10 hours of pre-trip and on-road training including coupling and uncoupling, delivered in 5 sessions of 2 hours each (1¾ hrs training + ¼ hr review per session).

Air Brake Endorsement
The Air Brake (Code 15) endorsement is required to operate any vehicle equipped with air brakes. An 11-hour ICBC-approved course (7 hrs theory + 4 hrs practical) plus individual student assessment. A computerized ICBC knowledge test and practical pre-trip inspection test are also required.

Steve's Instructor-Only Rate
Need additional supervised practice time with Steve (no formal lesson)? His instructor hourly rate is $112/hr with a minimum booking of 3 hours.
Payment & Scheduling
Tuition is paid in full before training begins. Once your signed application is returned, Steve will invoice you and place you in queue. All training is one-on-one with Steve. Students must provide a current driver's abstract (within 30 days) and hold a valid Learner's Licence for the class being trained.
